Session 2

The Changing Water Cycle

Session Description:

The session will cover the many components of the observed and modelled water cycle from the challenges and gaps in understanding of global precipitation through the interactions and forcing of the cryosphere and land surface to the role of external forcing of aerosols. The session will also consider the global energy constraints on the changing water cycle and latest understanding from high resolution models.
